Visits with Gandolf

This is an older conversation I had with my parrot.

Gandolf: What's this?
Ibid: "The Hulk".
G: What?
I: Well, it's the deleted scenes. I've already seen the movie.
G: [looks at me]
I: You wanna see the movie first?
G: It's bad.
I: Sorry. This is really "Incredible Hulk". The bad one was just "The Hulk".
G: Again.

So I started the movie from the beginning.

I love that bird. I want to squeeze her little bird body...

... but she won't let me.

"The Incredible Hulk" was the good one? The one with Edward Norton and Tim Roth? Egads, but the other must have been a real stinker. I tried watching the Norton movie and stopped watching it about halfway through because I thought it was awful.

I wish the two had met somewhere in the middle.

The first had the Hulk that gets bigger and stronger the madder he gets and had some great fight scenes. But the story was complete crap. The Hulk was based on the comic book Hulk but Banner and the villain were all screwed up.

The second had a better story but kinda weak fight scenes. This whole movie was based on the TV show from the 70s. The second also set up some villains for the sequel and followed up Iron Man in setting up for a bigger Avengers movie that Marvel is planning.
