This is a really nasty tree that lives in the pasture back on the family farm. Some people call it a black locust, some call it a honey locust, but we all know what we're talking about when we call it a thorny locust. These trees are all over the pasture but this particular one is the worst. It's been named the Teddy Bear tree because it has so many thorns it looks fuzzy. I don't know why blogspot insists on rotating the image. It's vertical in everything else.
