Mobile phone identification

I found someone's Blackberry in the street on the way to work this morning. It has a full charge but no information about the owner. I can't return it to him because I don't know his name or how to get in touch with him.

Just a friendly reminder. Be sure yours lets people find you again.

Call one of the contacts.

Hi, I found a red Blackberry in the street. You're one of the contacts. Do you know anyone who owns a Blackberry?

Yeah, obviously you can be a little more exacting than that. There's usally one contact that's called more than the others. Or an indication of where they work perhaps?

How about, "I found a blackberry that calls you all the time. Maybe you can contact your friends and see if one of them lost it?"

Honestly, I can't. All the names are first names, not last. That and their work numbers. I can't find a record of how often they get called. It's remarkably blank.

I'll do it when we get together tonight.
