One of the new planets that Kepler found is in a binary star system. These are rare because the complex gravitational interactions of the two are thought to make planet formation difficult. NASA scientists want to rename Kepler-16b "Tatooine" since Luke Skywalker's home world is also in a binary star system. [link]
